IES Ferran Tallada, together with the Som Vínculos Estelí Association, have celebrated their Feria de Juego , Nicalunya 2018.
This Feria de Juego –apart from being a playful proposal for children and families in the El Carmel district of Barcelona– it is the public presentation and piloting of the games and toys designed and built by boys and girls of the Higher Degree in Early Childhood Education within the framework of the Learning and Service project Nicalunya, Nicaragua i Catalunya pobles germans, game and toys design to get to know each other.
The Fair has been organized/encouraged by students of the Dual Module and Animation.
By doing an action to help children in Nicaragua in having quality games and toys, we suggest to promote openness/sensitivity among citizens of Barcelona towards other realities, generating occasions to value them positively and foster a friendly look and relationship towards what is culturally far from us.
The project aims to be an incentive to reflect on inequalities of opportunity, contribute to the adoption of cooperative attitudes that avoid self-fulfilling protectionism and work for the establishment of equitable relationships that are based on cultural reciprocity.
The collection of games and toys manufactured will remain in Catalunya, where it will be used in future actions and projects of Education for Global Justice.
The Fundación Vínculos Estelí from Nicaragua will build a replica to incorporate them into its Educational Resource Center and use them in schools and family and community activities.
